Context
A major French health insurance subsidiary tracks its key accounts and their subscribers using Salesforce CRM. The organization relies heavily on its digital platforms to manage comprehensive healthcare services.
Challenges
The primary challenge was establishing a seamless connection between the CRM and an online payment system to reimburse policyholders directly. This required synchronizing policyholder data from various sources. Additionally, the system needed to perform real-time reimbursements while managing the regular synchronization of over 80 exchange rates.
The Solution
The implemented architecture utilized the Anypoint platform and Cloudhub 2.0 to orchestrate seamless data flows and transactions.
Our Contribution
Our team developed a comprehensive API system connecting to Ebury for online payments , allowing real-time multi-currency conversions. We also created generic APIs to help Salesforce CRM retrieve contract renewals for key partners. We established automated pipelines via Bitbucket for version control and deployments.
Benefits
The MuleSoft integration significantly boosted operational performance by simplifying the reimbursement process. It provides a centralized, real-time view of all payments directly within the CRM. Furthermore, the deployment of generic APIs simplified the onboarding of new major accounts. Ultimately, the centralized platform streamlined the monitoring of all integrations.
