France’s leading daily newspaper partnered with Spoon Consulting to revitalize its advertiser-centric strategy, integrating Sales Cloud to harmonize data and boost sales force productivity.

What’s Inside?

  • Successful alignment of digital CRM solutions with complex media business processes.
  • Enhanced cross-departmental collaboration between sales, marketing, and digital teams.
  • Implementation of advanced Lightning components for a modern, high-performance user experience.

Context

France’s leading daily newspaper since 1975, which also holds the title of the top French-speaking daily in the world, embarked on a mission to modernize its commercial infrastructure. Operating in a rapidly evolving media landscape, the group chose Salesforce technologies to power its Marketing and Distribution solutions.

Challenges

The primary objective was to place the advertiser and their satisfaction at the very heart of the business model.  To achieve this, the client needed to:

  • Redesign outdated customer relationship management tools that hindered agility.
  • Improve the steering and oversight of the sales force to meet ambitious commercial targets.
  • Address data fragmentation across different legacy systems.

The Solution

The transformation was centered on the deployment of Salesforce Sales Cloud, tailored specifically for the media industry:

  • Sales Cloud Implementation: A robust platform designed to manage the entire advertiser journey.
  • Lightning Experience: Development of custom Lightning components to provide an intuitive and efficient interface for sales representatives.
  • System Integration: Connecting the CRM with existing back-office systems to ensure a unified flow of information.
